I wish they'd re-edit the long way down/round and take all Charley Boorman's bits out. Or give you the option on the DVD to remove his bits. He is just so 2000annoying and has a face that looks so punch-able.
I bet he can't believe his luck that he's reached some form of celebrity by hanging on to Ewan Mcgregor's coat tails.

You guys are all insane.
He's awesome if only for the fact that Long way round/down are two of the greatest things I've ever seen.
It's not about being rich or famous. It's about the journey and motorcycles. The fact that you don't like his face is justwell, who cares?
And I diagree. I think they certainly seem like real friends. Just friends who maybe don't see each other all that often. That happens a lot.

I totally totally agree!!
By far the winner for "Smug Git" of the year. Such a shame that the Long Way Round/Down & By Any Means series which are conceptually BRILLIANT must be spoiled by two of Britains most aggrivating men.
I've never felt so much hatred for some one in such a short space of time what an infuriating man!
An over-priviledged life and starring in his fathers films has given him a fast track to "fame".

He doesnda0t need the money or the exposure, if he wanted to trek round the world Im sure he organize a real mate to travel with him. Not pretend to be friends with Charley.
Therefore I contend that him and Charley genuinely are mates.

I agree, i really wanted to like these two but they just came across as two self indulgent tossers with too much money and time on their hands.
They dont even appear to be real friends, there is no banter between them and their conversations often appeared forced and awkward.They dont argue enough to be true friends.
Not really a good idea for a tv show either as most of the trip was just them riding bikes non stop, i mean they put the whole journey across America into one hour long show because nothing happened!
So come on lads, get some decent acting work done and spend some time with your families!

I think your wrong by a long shot. I wish they would edit it and take out Ewan at times. Charley is miles better and he certainly is not hanging onto Ewan's coat tails by any means. Anyway maybe you need to look in before you look out when you talk about anyone else's looks!
