So Doug Bradley is on a tour of college campuses reading scary stories and poems. He came to my school, Southern Illinois University on sunday october 30th. It was one of the best times ive ever had, he recited the first chapter of Hellbound Heart all the while carrying the Lament Configuration, It gave me chills to see this. He than answered questions, and signed autographs and took pictures. Hes one of the most humble actors and human beings ive ever met, and im a bigger fan now than i was previously and that says alot considering im obsessed with the hellraiser mythos. I asked him a question regarding pinhead being involved in an versus movies. This got alot of snickers from the crowd, but they soon shut up when Doug began to explain. Im sure you have all heard about Helloween. Michael Myers vs. Pinhead. he said the concept was pretty stupid considering Pinhead likes to have a conversation and since Michael never talks it wouldnt be good. He than said that he really started to get interested when he got a call from Clive Barker, that miramax wanted him to write the script and there were gonna have John Carpenter direct!! I know what your thinking to good to be true right?Yeah it is, turns out the Weinstein brothers put a hold on the project and its currently in limbo. He also said that he was really happy to hear that Clive was going to kill of Pinhead and that it would be a chapter near and dear to his heart but one that needed to be closed. I have a picture with him if anyones interested in seeing it.

He came to Savannah over four years ago with his show. It was beautifully executed (no pun intended).
The best question someone asked him was how playing Pinhead has affected his family life and how he explained to his five-year-old son (at the time) what "daddy" did for a living.
We will be cruel to the Germans, and through our cruelty, they will know who we are.

I have to agree. The 1st four are where the series ends for me as well. I love the first two, and the third and fourth are just OK. But the next 4 are just plain pathetic and embarassing. It's one thing to keep doing the series and making money. As much as I love the Hell1354raiser movies, I bet even Clive knew it was just all about the money he could pocket for the usage of his characters. I figure they give the series a break from all this made for DVD garbage they have produced in the last couple years, and give it a fresh look in about 5 to 10 years. I am pretty sure that there won't be any more for a while and I just hope that for the next one if there is one, it will be a fresh take and have a worthy story.
"Ignorance is Bliss" Please, don't take the girl!

Ahh, true evil never dies.
Thankfully Pinhead was human, so he could be annihilated.
For me the first four Hellraiser movies are the proper ones though.
