Do noy read this if you have not seen these movies:
I am Legend - Repo Men - Predators - Elysium
SPOILERS
I have seen several of 'her' movies and I have to say, she is the worst luck to any leading male character she is cast opposite to.
I am Legend (2007) - Dr Robert Neville ( Will Smith ) has not seen any other person for at least 5 years, not to mention a woman, she shows up and he sacrifices himself in one of the most ridiculous 'there was plenty of room in that closet for the 3 of them' death scenes since Rose hogging the floating door.
Repo Men (2010) - Remy ( Jude Law ) has chance after chance of getting away , but keeps risking his life for her, even though she is a multiple offense criminal. Finally he is 'mind wiped' and will spent the rest of his life as a vegetable.
Predators (2010) - Royce ( Adrian Brody ) spends the first 100 minutes of this movie spouting on about how he is all about saving himself at all costs, then in the last 7 minutes after she is captured he launches the alien ship that he can use to escape and stays to save her.
Elysium (2013) - Max ( Matt Damon ) is dying and needs to go to the space station to use a 'MedBed' to save his life - this is his driving force throughout the ENTIRE movie. With 10 minutes left in the movie he decides that the life of daughter of the girl he liked as a child is worth saving (along with the whole of Earth) at the cost of his own.
Not that I didn't like these movies, I just noticed a theme.
Miskatonic University - Go Pods !!!

Good observation! Wonder if Simon Pegg will have the same fate in her new film?!
Bauer vs. Bourne, that is the question.
