I'd agree that you have boring taste in film and lack knowledge in what good acting is.
She was absolutely brilliant in City of God - was nominated for and won many awards - and has been breathtaking in many roles. Maybe you should expand your tiny mind and not just watch summer blockbusters?
As for the two films you mentioned
In Predators she's supposed to be an off shoot of Shayetet 13 in the film. Those soldiers don't do a whole lot but kill people. Did you want her to whip her hair around and toss you some breast shots like Jessica Alba?
Loved her in Repo Men. Not a great film, but one of the few actresses that can find a way to be grimy and sexy at the same time. Perfectly pulled off the cutting scene at the end with her body language to make it absolutely erotic.
Maybe you should go catch some Michael Bay flicks? I hear Ben Affleck is great in them.

Tell that to Oscar-winner Natalie Portman in the Star Wars episodes I-III. Remember also that Hayden Christiansen was pretty good in Shattered Glass and that Ewan Macgregor is generally well-respected. They were in a trilogy of movies so bad that their combined ability and charisma couldn't make them watchable, but each has great movies on his/her resume.
Tell that to Oscar-winner Halle Berry and Sharon Stone in Catwoman. Or Johnny Depp in Secret Window or Charlie and teh Chocolate Factory. and the list goes on

I have seen her in I Am Legend, Blindness, Repo-Men, and Predators and I agree completely. It may just be the characters she plays but she is so boring to watch. I can never connect to any of her characters.

She got where she was the way all rich Brazilians do- it was handed to her. Such inequity there, it is sad, the rich can become racing car drivers, actors, what have you, talent is immaterial, it is all bought for them. Coddled. The poor will rise one day, and overwhelm.

That's right pal. In that Alice plays the character the way it should be done. Don't like it (who ever is reading this) then blame those who wrote it. An actor is only as good as the material they are given.

I disagree with the OP. I've seen her in several movies. I think she's beautiful and plays her characters as they should be played.

Only saw her in Predators and I am Legend. I didn't notice her at all in I am Legend, neither in a positive nor in a negative way. The movie was horrible anyway though. In Predators I actually liked her. Surely not oscar-worthy, but she certainly didn't do worse than anybody else on the cast, better than some, even (for example Fishburne, I thought he was pretty bad there. Although his character just sucked, maybe it wasn't his fault.)

I have only seen Predators and the dreadful I Am Legend. But that movie being dreadful wasn't Alice's fault. And I have no complaints on her what so ever.
