exactly and well said. she adds nothing really interesting to any films she's in. there are unknown actors who are better than her. she just doesn't deserve to be an actress. she is sonja's niece so that is probably why she got in the door.

She is completely mediocre in every sense.
She has that same, inexplicable "fierce" look on her face when nothing's going on. She's very unattractive.

the reason she is gettin so much work is she is related to sonia braga who used to be if not a big certainly a fairly well know actress in the 70s and 80s. i think alicia is rather attractive myself, and i love the accent.

I dont have anything against her, but I agree that are more brazillian beauties and good actresses then her.

You're taking it out of perspective. They are talking about a Hollywood actor. Of course when you're comparing to other Hollywood celebrities the standard is much higher. It's a bit stupid to then compare to girlfirends or girls you know.

I've actually worked with her and Im shocked a dude would say this. She is actually really nice and not at all stuck up. Very down to earth, perhaps the dif between us Americans who take things for granted and her , well shes not from here.

She was pretty good in Blindness, but Julianne Moore and Gael Garca Bernal pretty much stole the spotlight from everyone else.

I don't know why everyone harps on her5b4 performance in I Am Legend. It's not like they gave her much to do.
She's been getting great reviews for Blindness, even though the movie itself is not.

she's MUCH better in portuguese or spanish than in english. in i am legend i thought she was crap, frankly. havent seen redbelt but from the trailer her performance looks alright. go watch city of god or solo dios sabe
