Well now that Ash is back I'd really like to see Nicholas Brendon as his brother! The first ep was amazing!

He could play Ash's brother, he's too old for an Evil Dead reboot. Bruce Campbell is the only Ash we need.

Man that's so weird. I was just thinking about how much Xander Harris looked like a young Bruce Campbell. Of course, Bruce Campbell will always be the best Ash. But if they ever did replace him, I think Nicholas Brendon really fits the bill.

Well, the first time I saw him on Buffy I thought he must have been Bruce's secret love-child! It's not just the physical resemblance but they have similar mannerisms and comic timing.

he would be great as Ash, he was one of my favorite characters on buffy and i just got done rewatching the entire series on dvd and he would be perfect however.sam raimi has stated that there is only one true Ash(bruce campbell)and if the remake ever gets made it will not have the Ash character. but maybe he'll read this board and reconsider. i dont believe there should be a remakethey should just make an evil dead 4.

i'm currently re-watching buffy and i have to say that nicholas brendon would be perfect for the part of Ash in an Evil Dead remake. it won't stop the remake being rubbish though

I am totally against remakes, but since Bruce actually has a part in it I may let that one slide. But yes, Nick would be a great choice as Ash. May have to get onto Bruce website and send him a note stating he should check Nick out for the role.

Most definitely. My roomate and I are going through and rewatching the series and every time he says some cornball joke I cant help but think how great of an Ash he'd make. Plus, ya know, they do look awful dang similar.

If they must remake evil dead then yes, Nick would be my top choice. I never actually thought of it before, but you'd need somebody who could carry a cult fanbase and nick definitely could.

In the trailer for Unholy he looks like a young Bruce Campbell. He'd be perfect.

normally, i hate remakes and everything. but i could definitely see this. he's got the look, and the "everyman" personality that Bruce Campbell had in the first evil dead. plus, hello! who doesn't love xander!?

I'm so glad someone said this! I was thinking it as I listened to the Evil Dead musical soundtrack that he could do it! Plus, he looks good without a shirt and that's really what matters most to me.

I was watching "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and young Nick really looks a lot like young Bruce.

Um, nothere's only ONE Ash, and it's Bruce Campbell. Not some douchebag from a pansy vampire show who seems to be doing a constant Matt Perry impersonation.
