Isn't that the premise of the show that she is an "aging" country star and HP is taking her place? I love Connie and pretty much all of her work, but I guess it's a case of life meets art. She is a rare late bloomer in Hollywood. Despite double standards, even men don't often "make it" in their late 30s-early 40s like she did.

Connie's problem, IMO, is that she has a
tired-looking
face and I don't think she can do much about it. Her figure and hair are fine, but, unfortunately, she is not aging as well as others because of her face.
Interestingly, a profile in the
Sunday Times
yesterday stated that Connie is very sensitive to any indication in
Nashville
that she is an
aging
country star. She has told the producers that she has no interest in that kind of role. No doubt she is somewhat sensitive about this because, unfortunately, she could play that kind of role rather well.

I think Connie looks her age.

The same makeup people must have worked on American Ultra, she looked 60 in that picture. Maybe that vegan thing isn't such a good idea after all.

I think she looks about her age or somewhere in her 40s,which is not a bad thing because i think shes beautiful,she may not look like shes in her 30s but shes still sexy

@warmislandsun, Jeez! No one is trolling. I'm sure Connie is a lovely woman but she just so happens to look older than her actual age. It happens. I never said she wasn't attractive or that she didn't have great hair(because she does) or that she wasn't a talented actress(because she most certainly is) but damn am I not entitled to an opinion without the requisite "internet troll" default response? We all age differently. It's just a fact of life. You can get off your high horse now.

Connie appears to have that single, successful, confident combination which really irks the common internet troll.

Just a little FYI. I know Connie personally, and work on the show with her. She doesn't look as 'aged' as some of you are claiming she looks in person. It's called make-up, we have a great hair and make-up team that make her look slightly older on the show.

If it makes you feel any better I know tons of Hispanic and White women as well in Connie's age group and they don't look as beat up as she does and no they haven't had work done. I don't know why it's so hard for you to understand that Connie just looks older than her chronological age. Some people age faster than others. Some people are lucky enough to look younger. She just didn't win the lottery gene pool in that respect. It happens.

@jnor, you must live in an area where people live a rough life or are exposed to the sun a lot because that is not what women in their mid to late 40s look like. Period. As I said my mom is nearly 60 and doesn't have a wrinkle on her face and has never ever had any kind of surgery. Connie Britton looks rough and if you don't agree with me check out the other posts that agree with me.

@arofficial. What 45 year olds are you hanging with because the women I know her age and older do not look that aged. As I'd indicated my mother is 12 years older than Connie and looks younger and no she hasn't had a drop of plastic surgery or botox.

She looks well at 45. not botoxed or plastic like other actresses.
