I found this sound clip on the Green Acres Website apparently made while Pat was roasting comic Rich Little. It was absolutely filthy and disgusting and funny as all hell!
http://www.maggiore.net/greenacres/sounds.asp
(the Rich Little roast clip is near the bottom)
Does anyone know where we can obtain a full copy of his speech?

The irony of finding this thread in which Pat Buttram tells a dirty joke at a celebrity roast is that I had written a blog on his wife's IMDB file, Sheila Ryan. She appeared with him in Gene Autry movies, that's where they met. She had been married to Allan "Rocky" Lane, the voice of Mr. Ed. It was a short and not tranquil marriage. I commented that if this was in the movies, she would have married Allan Lane and never given Pat Buttram a look. Both she and Lane were very attractive and would have attractive children. I was promptly slapped in print by their granddaughter who said her granddad was a fine man and a good actor. I agree that he was in some roles that gave him more depth than being Gene Autry's sidekick. For one, it was The Jar on the old Alfred Hitchcock program. Buttram plays a hillbilly desperate for attention and acquires a carnival sideshow attraction. However, his main claim to fame were those Celebrity Roast in which he tells a dirty joke that wasn't all that funny. Then to give it a satirical twist, you connect with a Disney cartoon with the animals showing their disapproval. I was all set to apologize to the Buttram family, but I guess my original opinion was not all that off base.

I don't think that ruined it for anybody. Now, taking that clip and editing it into a Disney cartoon, THAT would do it!
Kinda like this

Aw doggone it all. Now it's ruined. Watching Mr Haney as a child, I'd never invision him talking in that manner. But in reality, most of us do talk like that when not on the record.
Fun clip. Hope you can locate the rest of111c it.
(added) That might be part of the 'Celebrity Roast' series of tapes that was offered on TV last year. I haven't seen them, but being mail ordered they likely would be uncensored.
