I assume that he named the characters on his show Louie in order to differentiate his real self from the fictionalized versions of himself that he plays.</p>

<p dir="auto">I am going to explain something so simple, maybe even you can understand it.  The pronunciation is French, not the person.  Louis is a French name and it is pronounced by the French as LU EE.<br />
With that, I do not plan to ever read another post by you.<br />
