I'm a writer and I've worked with Dean recently. This guy is incredibly bright, insightful and crazy knowledgeable about his craft. I just knew him as the guy from "Ski School" and "Summer School" but he is now an elder statesman of weirdness. He has comedic chops for miles which made me a bit sorry that he was just getting back into the game and had to do my show. That said, he is one of those rare actor where a writer actually thinks if he improvs it will probably be better than the lines he labored over. I hate people messing with the timing and meter of my lines but I would trust this fella. If you knew me, that would be high praise.

He has great comic timing, and he seems to be just as funny in real life as he is in his movies. He was one of the first people I contacted when I first came on the web (being a total fangirl at the time) and he sent me the most hilarious reply, I still smile about it lol
