It's been reported that the new CBS drama series 'Chaos' has been killed off before it even left the starting gate. According to Deadline, the game of brinkmanship between the network and the producer/distributor 20th Century Fox Television was still ongoing when the options on the actors' contracts expired at midnight Wednesday.
The breakdown in negotiations has been described as "a classic example of political gamesmanship between two companies that don't trust each other."
'Chaos' was due to star Freddy Rodrguez ('Six Feet Under') as a naive C.I.A. agent1c84 who wants to make the world a better place. It was written by Tom Spezialy ('Reaper,' Desperate Housewives') and the well-received pilot was directed by Brett 'X Men' Ratner, who was also in line to executive-produce the series with Spezialy.
Were real cuz we were made in New York.
Do a piece with him? Youre an actor, right? Maybe you will work with him one day. Acting is not my thing at all, so all I want is to meet the guy!
P.S. If purple = Jada, do you look like Jada!? 80)
LOL! I dont remotely look like Jada Pinkette! Honestly, when I cam up with the name I had just finished watching the movie, so I picked a name from there. I could have just as easily been PurpleTrinity!

I hope I didnt come across as argumentative! I dont think you have anything against L& O, its just TV is TV, whether its on network or cable. Chaos is going to be on TV (hopefully). SoI guess I dont understand being against one show but being for another, though in Chaos at least Freddy would be the lead.
Id love for Freddy to be in more movies, but if hes taking a break from that for whatever reason, I think a show thats already getting a lot of buzz and is spun off of a popular show is the way to go. For me, if hes going to be on a TV show, hes going to need to be on there longer than a minute to build up that recognition.
Id LOVE him to be on HBO, as long as HBO doesnt do that weird thing they did a while ago where they cancelled Carnival on us because of budget issues, only to green light the su5b4per expensive looking show Rome.

Go out like that? Whats wrong with Law & Order? Its still a fairly prestigious, popular show with two successful spinoffs from a show that has been on the air for 20 years. I think there are worse shows to be on!
But I would love HBO or Showtime to pick up Chaos! I think they would have the better budget for it.
Well purple
I just think Law & Order is too "SOAPY" for him. He's a "Movie Star" and for him to go to TV just would look odd. I think "Fishburn" is on one of them, and I can't seem to get used to it. But yup! HBO or Showtime should pick up "Chaos". Not only because they have the better budgets like you mentioned, but also the script can then really be written more freely/expressively. Again, nothing against "Law Maybe like a here and there spots, but not as a regular. Hell no! He's better that thatI respect your Op. though

L&O is a drama (with action in it when it deals with the "Law" part of the show). Freddy had done comedy before, but personally, I'm in love with Freddy dramatic side!

I find L&O quite boring. The only spin-off that I watch on a regular basis is L & O: SVU. I would prefer to see him in something different from L&O, like a comedy, drama, action etc.

I hope so, especially since they already shot a lot of it. It would be a waste to let that go unseen. What are the odds for that happening?
Ironically, didn't Freddy shoot for another Alan Ball series before 'Six Feet' and it never took off?
