Hi all,
I just wondered if anyone would remember a comedy show called "Just our luck", which made in 1983 that starred TK Carter as a Black genie. A sort of a Richard Pryor type genie???
I loved that show. And it was a minor hit over here in England at the time. Many people couldn't understand why it was taken off the air.
I wondered if any organisation has made a Dvd release of the series so that we can see it all again?
Or better still. Does anyone know if there is going to be a re-make in the future of this excellant comedy show?
The genie was a very intelligent, but sometimes got himself into trouble alot and his master.But at times the master needed his genie help.
It reminded me of the 1960's show "I dream of genie". But this genie was wise cracking, smart and hipIf you know what I mean.
I and many others in the Uk loved this show, and wondered if there was any chance of gaining a copy of the show if it ever came out on Dvd?
If not, just wanted to know if anyone knows about the show and would want to discuss it with us here
