I feel sorry for him and at the same time am 100% in favor of him spending at least a year in incarceration. He is a danger to himself and to the public with his out of control drinking.

But I'm wondering, at what point does the court protect the public from someone who repeatedly drinks and drives? When is his license revoked, or he's taken off the road by being jailed?

The reports say that he went on a bender becuase of the testimony his was giving in the Sony case. First of all, David will never win that lawsuit and he is wasting his time. Shirley Jones said in an interview on PBS a couple of years ago that she knows that he's been in denial about it for decades, and that she's waiting for him to finally hit bottom so he can begin recovery.
Doesn't he also suffer from depression stemming from the crushing death of a young fan during one of his concerts many years ago?

A lot of friends and family have stayed away from DC because of his abuse.I just think over the years David has lied and manipulated everyone down from his parents on down. Dc does everything he could to bring attention and pity. This won't end well.
