No matter who is there, they seem to make bad decisions. Starting over isn't necessarily a bad idea. The DCEU is a mess. Inconsistent, at best. But they are still actively releasing DCEU movies. Cavill - who is popular - was just in Black Adam. Christ, Gunn himself has done a DCEU movie AND show. Is he ignoring that stuff too, to start over?

One hand isn't talking to the other.
Henry Cavill left The Witcher to dedicate time to Superman. The Rock has been pushing for a Black Adam/Superman showdown so much Cavill had a cameo in the movie. A month later Cavill is out?!
There's 4 DCEU movies that are complete and yet-to-be released. What do you do, release them? No one cares about them anymore. They won't make much money because of this move. It's a dead universe. If you don't release them they make NO money. Very stupid/ego-driven move by Gunn. Should have just reset the universe with The Flash liked planned.

Black Adam was a bomb though. Same goes for most of the DCEU movies. They need to start fresh or they will keep releasing movies that the public is not interested in.
