A psychiatrist would label much of what you just said in reference to me as "Projection". Look it up. Then look in the mirror and see who is "wound up". There is no post you leave unanswered, and usually within minutes of its posting. You're so predictable you're a crashing bore. No wonder your screenplays went nowhere. Now you take that frustration out on message boards, critiquing the works of others because you couldn't hack it in the real world. You would think that you were old enough to know better.

You are hopelessly obtuse if you think I would reveal anything to you. Your obsessiveness about all things Chapa will not extend to me. You're nothing but a stalker with a persecution complex. I'll have none of it.

Your assumption is, per usual, dead wrong. I care not a whit about diffusing criticism against Chapa. But anyone who devotes this much time and energy to bringing down someone who has already hit bottom career-wise, must be called out for being the bully that he is. And since you'll never own up to that because you are too busy formulating your witless defense of your own despicable behavior, I can only assume it is you who are the deluded one.

I dont get why you are so concerned. You think Chapa and/or his films suck(s), but you want to defend them from criticism, too?
Im a connoisseur of B-movies (Ill watch anything with a 2-4/10 star rating), so I think Chapa makes some solid exploitation. They are camp, and there is always a small market for camp. Know your audience.
And this turn away from Chicano stuff, to more lofty (haha) European subjects is just an amusing background to the movies. I think Chapas intentional-not-intentional comparisons of himself to the misunderstood genius Bobby Fischer, greatest actor ever, but fallen from grace Brando, and brilliant director who has sinned Polanski is utterly hilarious.

Only paradoxical to someone as dense as you. It appears I have to repeat myself because you're so slow on the uptake:
It is not what you say, but how you say it. While I am in agreement about the foolishness in being suckered into some Hollywood scam, you have shown yourself to be no better than a grifter yourself with your smarmy posts that offer little of substance and contain only self-satisfied bilge and witless put-downs. No wonder you were suckered by Chapa. You had nothing to offer to the world and so tried to latch on to a third-rate has been. And now, the few who populate this board must suffer your endless whining and limp-wristed agenda of spewing rumor, hearsay and nauseating poetry. I sincerely wish you all the luck in the world. You obviously need it.

You hesitate to speculate?
That's a first. You've done nothing on this board but speculate while offering little more than rumor and hearsay. What a fool.
