To the OP-Ray was human. As far as doing drugs goes, that certainly doesn't make you a bad person. Many very good people do drugs socially and those like Ray, whose lives were controlled by drugs for long periods of time are called ADDICTS. Addiction is a disease; look it up. And yeah, he cheated on his wives and made some real bad decisions. He did some bad things, like we ALL have.<br />
No, I do have a tremendous amount of respect for Ray as a person. Going blind at 7, growing up rock bottom dirt poor, without a father, he went out into the world and made the utmost of his natural, God given talents. He never wanted or expected a handout or concessions. He was a self made legend, who made a lot of mistakes, struggled with active addiction for 15 years and then stopped using drugs. He was a remarkable man in more ways than one can count.<br />
