like, they took the song "imagine" from ray's 1996 album, and they mixed it into a duet, with a kid who was far from known back then,
so.. here is some pop singer breaking into this old song that ray recorded back when this kid wasn't even known, and does a "pretend" duet.

right, and then there is duet with Willie Nelson.. RECORDET BACK IN 1991!!!! see? see? they have scratched up whatever they could find,
they should have let ray ended his career with "genius loves company" (2004), and not make a "pretend duet" album to squeze out more money.
and who are these pop "american idol" kids Ray are singing with???? for god sake alright.
by the way, noticed how that show is all about 3 middleage cats in a jury insulting kids? i don't know wich end of the room looks more pathetic.

You mean Genius and Friends. I know what you mean I was wondering how none of these songs were ever mentioned by the artists themselves.
I bought this album when I was in New York and even though a few I dont particularly take to I would say there are seom cool songs on there
I thought it was odd that Ray sang Imagine EACTLY THE SAME and the iintrumentals were EXACTLY THE SAME also! Didnt realise it had been recorded over.
His duet with Angie Stone is cool and I like the song with John Legend I thought both their singing was excellent on it (and Im not a John Legend fan)
The America the Beautiful duet with Alica Keys was a bit poo. would rather have heard Ray Sing it solo. although Alicia Keys does some nice singing in it shes not raw enough for me like Ray was
