Hey, I'm a bit confused about where she's from. She looks and dresses African, but speaks with a Jamaican accent? Can anyone help me out?

Sharon, if you watch "The Singing detective" (86) plays the stroppy night nurse who kisses her teeth when asked by a patient for a bedpan! (and in a Jamaican accent!-Hilarious!).

She doesnt speak with a Jamaican accent at all. She has an English accent. She might put a Jamaican accent on if she's playing a part, just as she put an American accent on when she played Killer Queen in WWRY, but in every day life, she has an English accent.

I think she was born actually in England but she obviously has African roots
