Just watched this movie for the first time last night, and was wondering if the tech wearing a ball cap who comes into the control room with Godell's supervisor
when they are bringing the Ventana plant back online
is Gary Cole?
He says something to to the effect of "Number 43 is ok" or something like that, and Godell acknowledges it with an "OK". He would have been 22 or 23, which is possible, tho it looks like his acting credits don't start until the early 80's (wikipedia says 1983). Anyone know?
Also, unrelated, but it's too bad that the CHP uniforms by the days of CHiPs lost the snazzy bright blue bowties like they wore
in the scene where they were rescuing the film dude from the car wreck.
