The Sam Cooke Fan Club has announced their plans for the 5th Annual Tribute. It will take place in Memphis, TN April 3-5, 2008. The weekend activities include a Thursday night meet-and-greet, a Friday morning bus trip to Sam's birth city of Clarksdale, MS (including lunch at Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero restaurant), a Friday night party in Sam's honor, and a Saturday night tribute dinner and show. People from around the world have attended tributes in the past, and "Cookie Nation" continues to grow!
