In recent photos and of course in Wentworth, I can't help but notice a possible mixed-race look about Danielle, particularly with her long, curly dark-reddish hair and high cheek bones.
Hailing from New Zealand, I was wondering if she has any Maori heritage anyone know?

Wow! Thanks for that. Being from the United Kingdom and as far away from Australasia as is geographically possible, anything like this fascinates me

Danielle speaks (in addition to English) French, and Te Reo Maori, and was born in Auckland, New Zealand; she could be part Maori. Also, her ex-husband, Pana Hema Taylor is Maori, and an actor. At the beginning of Pana Hema Taylor's career, he appeared on the Maori Language educational series, "Whanau". The fact that Danielle speaks Te Reo Maori, could be contributive to being married to a native Maori and their child or perhaps she was raised speaking the language, and is in fact, part Maori. My guess is the later.
Very perceptive.
Thanks.
