I grew up watching the Waltons just a couple of years older than "Elizabeth Walton" in the foothills of western NC, much looking like the area in which the Waltons was set in my birth state of VA. I've seen comments that Kami Cotler was teaching school in "Walton" territory in VA, but didn't know if that was accurate or not. Has anyone heard anything else?

That information is true. I had watched the show called 'After they where famouse', where they go back and find out what ever happened to them. They did a Walton reunion with all of the kids. And she is teaching high school kids.
