I had a similar situation happen to me many years ago.
I was in a position that had brought a temptation to forge checks, make fake id's, use other credit cards and unfortunately had acted on those temptations.
thankfully my stupidity did not last very long and was caught before I could do anything too serious.
Ended up given PTI and only had to pay restitution, do community service and probation.
Everyone makes mistakes. EVERYONE! All of us. Unfortunately for many, the mistakes become embedded in their lives and become a sort of lifestyle, often extremely difficult to control or get out of.
