RC's IMDB info is so sparse! Another poster commented about how underrated he is as an actor/writer/director, and I agree!
After "Fear of a Black Hat," "Sprung," and directing one of the stories in "Tales of the Hood," (which I think he also wrote) he was in high demand! And he has been writing and directing every since.
My husband went to college with Rusty at Xavier University in New Orleans. Plus they are frat brothers. May have pledged together, I forgot. I'll never forget when years ago we went to see one of Spike Lee's early films and see Rusty on screen almost made my husband fall off the chair! It was so funny! For a few moments he entertained us gasping, that's my friend, frat, Rusty! They had lost touch. You kno, after college, different paths. But a couple years ago, when were watching CSI, the opening credits revealed RC as director! That has happened a few times, seeing RC in credits for various programs.
When we first saw Rusty on screen, we lived in New York. It's been quite a few years now, we returned to our Southern roots, to New Orleans. Of course, my husband's alumni and frat brothers from Xavier are all very proud of Rusty.
Since I saw nothing in the boards recently (since 2008), I hope you will forgive my rambling post. And just in case someone is in touch with Rusty, tell him he needs new PR people!

After all of that, above, I forgot to mention that after the CSI episode my husband left Rusty a message on Twitter. He wanted Rusty to kno that he had been following his Hollywood career and was proud and happy about his success.
Again Rusty, surprised the heck out of him, when he responded to him seconds later as he happened to be on Twitter @ same time. They chatted a bit, and have since on occasion.
We thought it was really cool that the Xavier alum-frat -brother turned Hollywood producer etc. was so grounded!
