I had heard about the whole McDreamy McSteamy thing for months or maybe even years through popular culture by the time I saw my first ep (I have since watched every single ep of every single season and can't wait until it re-starts).
McDreamy came first and I was thinking, wow, he IS that hot, and that hair! And those eyes! McDreamy indeed.
First time I saw McSteamy I was like
I Want!! Words are not enough to describe the sexiness that erupts from that man.
Fool around with McSteamy first and then when you're done marry McDreamy.

McSteamy! Have you seen those abs and that gorgeous smile?

Definitely McSteamy. McDreamy just doesn't do it for me, at all. I think it's the hair. It's just toomuch. I dunno. Occasionally there's be like one shot of McDreamy and I'll see it for a second and think he's attractive, but then I'll go back to being completely uninterested. Also, I think his character is kind of a douche.
McSteamy on the other handswoon! He's got that naughty little look and smilesigh. And he is a douche too, but he's funny about it and a nice guy at heart. So, McSteamy. Definitely.

McSteamy . and here's why:
The episode in season 5 when Lexie says that she broke him after he and McDreamy fight. When he leans in and say: "You think you broke me little Grey?"
Damn that man is fiiiiiiiiiiiiine!

I've stoped watching "Grey's Anatomy" two seasons ago. But I could see the two characters and I prefer McSteamy. Not only because Dane is more handsome. It's because of McDreamy character is not very credible (the character, not Dempsey's acting). He is the kind of man that you would never find in real life (too good, so in love with one just one woman). So, McDreamy ends up being boring.
