The death of the Seabiscuit horse seems to have gotten more attention than the tragic death of this young women.
My question is are the resources of California so strained, that a middle class person can only be seen by two medics? Also, does anyone know what kind of surgery would have saved her life?

What? Seabiscuit? By the way, you don't operate for a disease. Lot's of people die of pneumonia every year.

She must have had a TERRIBLE strain of pneumonia, and what idiots those medics were for not x-raying her lungs at least.
If she had been given more powerful antibiotics to begin with, and had her symptoms not been ignored, then she probably would have lived. She was a young and healthy woman, pneumonia shouldn't kill someone like her unless it's ignored. Total case of carelessness by these metical professionals. Argh.
The gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge
