why, i heard Stan years ago, and i still dont know how did they get together to work in a song, they have very different style, and many dido fans arent really into the rap genrebut i think the song Stan is pretty well blended with two different styles, just wondering how did they actually get together to do the song

They didn't get together. Emenem heard "Thank You" and loved the hook from the beginning, and asked Dido if he could use it. She said yes and so he did. Dido only appeared in later versions of the video, after both Stan and Dido had become hits.
