I just picked up this set and watched it all. I was a fan of the show while it was airing and was terribly disappointed when it was cancelled. This could have been phenomenal. Watching the DVDs has made me miss the show. There's really no interesting genr1c84e television at the moment. Supernatural is the best at the moment and it really lacks that special something that Point Pleasant provided for me - a gorgeous female cast!
It's a little disappointing that FOX and the creators (ahem - Marti Noxon!) didn't take a little bit of time to do a commentary on some of the episodes. I would have loved to hear more insight about the show. Ms. Noxon's Buffy commentaries never failed to entertain.
All in all, though, I'm very glad I got a chance to see the unaired episodes. I hope to see a lot more of Elisabeth Harnois, Aubrey Dollar and Cameron Richardson in the future A more stunning cast has yet to be put together.

More info!!!
Point Pleasant on DVD!
Point Pleasant the DVD Hits Stores October 25th
Something wicked this way comes to POINT PLEASANT, a usually quiet New Jersey beach town, when a sudden, violent storm washes in more than the tide. After local lifeguard JESSE PARKER (Sam Page) sees the beautiful CHRISTINA NICKSON (Elisabeth Harnois) floating in the ocean, he dives into the dangerous waters to save her life and bring her to safety. Little does Jesse know that his heroic rescue heralds the beginning of all hell breaking loose.
Jesse brings Christina to the home of DR. BEN (Richard Burgi) and MEG KRAMER (Susan Walters), whose reclusive daughter JUDY (Aubrey Dollar) takes an instant liking to their new houseguest. The Kramers have seen their share of hardship - their youngest daughter passed away a couple of years ago - and Christina appears to bring light back into the home. For Christina, Point Pleasant offers both respite from her protected boarding-school existence in New York, and the opportunity to search for answers about her long lost mother, a Point Pleasant native.
Unbeknownst to Christina her arrival in Point Pleasant has a profound effect on the small seaside community. Her presence awakens repressed feelings, unlocks secret desires and heightens emotions among the residents - tensions flare among Jesse and best friend TERRY (Brent Weber), who secretly pines for Jesses possessive girlfriend PAULA (Cameron Richardson). Paulas hot-to-trot mother AMBER HARGROVE (Dina Meyer) attempts to rekindle the relationship with the good Dr. Kramer, her childhood sweetheart. Even the strong love between Jesses parents, Police Captain LOGAN (Alex Carter) and church-going SARAH PARKER (Clare Carey), is tested, especially when the mysterious and charismatic THOMAS BOYD (Grant Show) moves into town and begins to insinuate himself into Christinas new life.
Despite fighting a budding attraction to each other, Christina enlists Jesses help to search for answers to her familys past, all-the-while trying to suppress the evil (and the power that comes with it) inside her. While Christina never knew her mother, she will come to realize that shes never known her real father, either. Christina is the offspring of a mortal woman and the Devil - the battle for her soul has begun.
