I was extremely busy with work and school when Buffy was on and so I never saw one episode.
However, I heard her name a lot and "Doosh Ku" is kind of absurd so it stuck in my mind. However, I never really saw her in anything. So, she's a "household word" I have no idea about.

Who is she?
I liked the show Banshee and I didn't even know that was her at the time. I thought she was a good actress and good looking.
I have heard her name many times and didn't realize it was her.
She's like a household name I couldn't pick out of a lineup, which is odd.
