Maybe it's what her parents intended it to be pronounced? Don't be such a dumbass. I know two people with the name Vanna, one is pronounced Van-nah and the other pronounced Vah-nah, and that's exactly how their parents pronounces it.

We always pronounce it like that in Germany and since she has some German roots, maybe that's the reason her parents are pronouncing it that way I like it either way.

There is no arna pronunciation in Frozen. I've never heard anybody pronounce the name Anna as Arna.

I think people are saying ah-na as in arna, that what confused me at first because to me, ahh sounds like the phonic A not the letter R.
In frozen it sounds like R na but the people i know in real life call themselves ann na.

It's kinda hard to explain over text. I'd have to say it. I'm not sure if different accents are what's making it confusing to begin with, but imagine an American (from California, so not with a southern, eastern, or midwestern accent) saying "ah-na" and "an-na".

No "ar". It's commonly "an-na" here in America (which is what OP is used to), but Anna Faris, my friend, and the Frozen character are all "ah-na".

It actually sounds very American to say Arna rather than Ahh na. It might have a slight r with RP English, but it isn't intentionally supposed to be an Ar-na sound.
