I always admired him on
The Late Late Show
, he was cheeky and naughty but also self-deprecating at the right moments, and very gentle and courteous with his guests. Even when he was hardcore flirting with the female guests, it came across as intended to make them feel confident and beautiful in front of the cameras rather than dirty or creepy. In addition to being erudite and well-spoken, he just had these subtle, considerate mannerisms that distinguished him as a classic gentleman and made him stand out from other American late night hosts. Maybe it's just his eloquent European accent that made him seem so classy haha, but does anyone else feel like he was one of the last few gentlemen our generation could learn from? I really miss him on the show.

I don't know if gentleman is quite it, though he managed to pull off creepy and classy together in a way few people can. He might even take some offence to the term 'gentleman' as a former punk rocker, but I do think that he was really genuine when he was talking to people in a way that even confused some guests at first but it certainly seemed like going on his show was a break for most guests because Craig made a point of avoiding talking about whatever it was the studio sent them there to talk about, and most of them seemed to appreciate that.
