lol SHE'S not ugly, but her CHARACTERS are. I think when we see someone like Miss Trunchbull or the one in Harry Potter, we kinda see the actress as ugly when theyre not. Look at some of the pictures of her as herself, and youll see she's not a real beauty, but she's not ugly.

Fabulous post! Pam Ferris may not be a classic beauty, but she is an attractive woman who is not afraid to take on any role, no matter how much she has to play down her looks. Anyone who eschews beauty in favor of a brilliant performance should not only command our respect, but should also be considered gorgeous in all the ways that really count. Most glamor-puss types are a dime a dozen.
