<p dir="auto">According to the BBC Press Office website, Pam is among t1c84he new cast members for the BBC's much-anticipated autumn adaptation of Dickens' "Little Dorrit"! The novel centres the rags-to-riches and back again story of the Dorrit family in Victorian London.<br />
Pam will play Mrs General, who instructs the Dorrit girls on etiquette and social behaviour. The all-star cast also includes Tom Courtenay, Alun Armstrong, Amanda Redman, Robert Hardy, Annette Crosbie, Andy Serkis and Ruth Jones. It is due to air in fourteen half-hour episodes (following an hour-long first episode) from November!</p>

As well as playing Mrs General in "Little Dorrit", she's also done two films: "The Other Man" and "Nativity"!</p>
