I've been trying for ages to find out Pam's DOB (specifically so I can add it to the imdb) but am having no luck. I know she was born in 1948/49 but the exact date remains a mystery (it would have been revealed in her 'This Is Your Life' appearance but that's going back to 1991). Can anyone help?

Believe me, I love Pam Ferris as an actress, but I really, really doubt that she was born in 1948! I was born in 1950 and when I first saw her I figured her age as being more like 66 (b. 1940).
For the younger crowd, in determining a person's age: Look at a woman's hands. She may look young everywhere else but the aged appearance of her hands will give her away (unless she is a huge lotion devotee). Also the apearance of the rear-end, no matter how much she exercises. Sad but true.
