wow, that's too bad you don't find him funny. at first I didn't really get him, but he's definitely grown on me the past few seasons. I think his delivery is great - that's one of the things about him that always cracks me up .. he always keeps a straight face and never breaks character. a lot of his sketches/characters are some of my favourites on the show - including the locker room dancing coach, ESP2000N sketches, Fly High Duluth with Scarlett Johannsen, Jeff Montgomery the sex offender, Hamilton, Jon Bovi, Spelling Bee with Jack Black, and of course MacGruber. and someone also posted the very hilarious Halloween song he did on WU a few years back. his impression of Zell Miller is crazy, now THAT is what you call committment to a character, he never half-asses it. even got Darrell Hammond to crack up during one of those Hardball sketches. his real ability, though shines on Tim and Eric Awesome Show especially Fortin with Will, and on Tim and Eric Nite Live as the gingerbread house builder omg that sh-t is hi-la-rious

I think he is amazing and always made me laugh. Senator Calhoun was gold.

I think Will Forte can be pretty funny! MacGruber the movie was awful, but I like him. He pulls off creepy pretty well. And some of the things that make me laugh are when he shocks me (like the end of the DARE commercial piece on SNL) But I 1,000% agree with you about Colin Quinn.

I have a mixed opinion about him, but "at all" seems a little harsh. I think he was hilarious as the fictional politician Tim Calhoun in his early years at SNL. But hey, that's just me

DISAGREE. I find him absolutely hillarious. He's definitely one of the funniest people in hollywood. The brothers solomon wasn't a very funny movie and it did not show his funny side. MacGruber was super hillarious tho. It maybe the funniest movie i've ever watched.

Will Forte lacks the charisma necessary for a leading role in a comedy. That's not to say that he's never funny but I think he's more suited to supporting roles.
The MacGruber concept has a ton of potential but there isn't anyone on SNL with the talent to pull it off, just like there's no one decent to play Obama.

Have to admit tho, I skipped this one after the horrid review and bad word of mouth from friends. Let's hope Will does better in the next one

I like Andy Samberg (and the Lonely Island, but the other two guys are just writers), Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Will Forte the best of the current SNl lineup. Kenan Thompson has made some great strides, but he used to suck. However, the movie MacGruber stunk.
