Plus, he knew SHE was all talk. She would have bolted the minute he got off that chair. Whatever happened next, he knew it would be the end of their little flirtation. He had no choice but to sit there and take it. Making a move would have been worse for him than sitting still for the humiliation not that he didn't deserve it!
