Bernard Fox's role as Malcolm Merriweather in three separate episodes of the "The Andy Griffith Show" was one of my favorites in the series. He played the role to the hilt and apparently he was appreciated on the show to have made multiple appearances as the same character over a three years span. He seems like the kind of guy you would like to have a pint with.
