Frehley is the biggest moron on the face of the Earth.
You're in a band with Gene and Paul, who don't drink or do drugs. Two of the most uptight guys in Rock & Roll. The sticks up their sses are reputed to have a stick wedged up it's own ss. Yet this moron agrees with them to kick Peter Criss out of the band, forever guaranteeing that all future votes on anything will be Gene and Paul outvoting him 2:1.
Even if Criss was totally incompetent, it was in his best interest to keep him around so they could tie any vote against Simmons and Stanley. By dumping Criss, he was locking in the eventuality that they'd tire of him and toss his sorry stoned, drunk ss out.
If you want to spend your time getting hammered and stoned, which it's pretty clear Frehley did, you assign you're voting rights to your attorney and instruct him to always vote against whatever Simmons and Stanley want.
