.Washington DC just had more snow then at any other time in history. It is getting so bad some Democrats are questioning the idea of global warming and Al Gore's divinity. Where's Al Gore. He probably flew to someplace warm in his private jet. He couldn't drive there because they recalled his Pris..Of course MSNBC and Time Magazine says blizzards are caused by global warming. There weren't any blizzards before there was a moder industrial society just like there weren't any hurricanes, droughts or even hot weather before there was a modern industrial societies. We most go back to pre industrial times. IF we don't the polar bears will all drawnBut there were blizzards before the industrial age. That's a thought crime. Facts like that were thrown down memory hole at East Anglia University along with a hundred years of climate records.We must have group think. Cold is warm. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Knowledge is ignorance. Al Gore is big brother. We must love big brother.As I've said before: free your mind and the rest will follow.
True genius is a beautiful thing, but ignorance is ugly to the bone.

Excuse me, but in the seventies in middle and high school they taught us this(man made global cooling) in science class. when I was in the eighth grade, they even herded us into the assembly room on Earthday and made us watch a film about the near future. It depicted snowstorms in DC in June.

Most scientists ne2000ver believed in "Global Cooling". That was a theory put forward by a few scientists and popularized by the mass media. It was a misreading of a temperature trend that was going on in the 60s and early 70s by a few climatologists.
Still, I'm never surprised when Big Business and the government are trying to cash in on something. Why is anyone surprised? That doesn't mean the science is fake or that the subject is bogus. Because Boeing, Airbus and military-industrial contractors make a multi-billion dollar killing on building airplanes doesn't mean that Bernoulli's Principle is a hoax or fake.

Climate =/= Weather
Look up the difference. Snowstorms have little to do with global warming either way. As the earth's temperature warms it will still snow in the winter. Heating the earth can actually cause colder weather in some areas as increased cold currents from melting polar caps can create more cold fronts. That's why most scientists use the term "Climate Change" instead of "Global Warming" because while the latter is technically correct it's misleading. It would be like calling cancer "cell growth". While that's technically correct it's a very misleading thing to call it.

Actually the biggest snow fall probably occured in 1770's in what is now DC. they didn't keep records then but Ben Franklin mentions a snow fall of three feet in 1772.
By the way MSNBC is owned by GE, so follow the money trail.
