I'm surprised there are no comments for this talented actor. I was familiar with "The Red Shoes", and now I'm pleased to say, "A Matter of Life and Death". Finally released in North America, it was such a treat. Marius and the cast were fabulous. I'm becoming familiar with all of the films by "The Archers" and my mind did drift to, "Julian is talking to Clive, and there's Sister Ruth, and Bob's wife". Just for a moment, tho.
Yes, sir, I'm going to do nothing like she's never been done before!

Agree. He does an incredible job in SO LITTLE TIME (1952).
It's an utterly perfect performance.

I, too, remember the talented and always excellent Marius Goring. I think I first saw him in The Red Shoes! Then, there he was again in another of my favorite film: A Matter of Life and Death. He was soo charming as he tried to lure David Niven's character to follow him to heaven
Rest in peace Mr. Goring

He's a wonderful actor and quite handsome, too. I had the pleasure of seeing
A Matter of Life and Death
on big screen at the Detroit Institute of Arts many years ago, though it was titled
Stairway to Heaven
then.
