I still think she does an excellent job portraying Casey. She's made the role her own - I don't see anyone else being able to play her now.</p>

<p dir="auto">Actually she was cast against type.  She grew up as a Goth/punk in high school with short cropped hair.  She dyed it black, brown, platinum blonde.  (this was all from a NY Daily News interview she did years ago)<br />
Over the years before Greek, she usually played the best friend, classmate, bit roles in NYC and LA and nothing pretty/glamourous about the roles.</p>
