I grew up watching Grizzly Adams, never missed it. I have also seen some of your other films, they are mostly ok! I did not like "Cheyanne Warrior" you died too soon in it! My whole reason to watch it, was cause you were in it.

If I ever get married I would LOVE to have Dan Haggerty be my minister. He's ordained ya know! I too had the pleasure of growing up watching Grizzly Adams.

I've never met Dan Haggerty, but I'm related to himsorta. A cousin of mine, who was (and still is) a married man, was going through a period of several years of wild living, illegal drug use, commiting petty acts of larceny and bilking people out of their money to support his drug habit, etc. It was during this time that he met and hooked up with Haggerty's daughter; my cousin sired a daughter through her.
Thankfully, he eventually straightened up and returned to his wife and went back to living a respectable and productive life; I believe the baby girl remained with her mother. That's all I know about the mutual blood ties between Dan Haggerty and me

My husband and I just met him there too. And you're right he is just like you have seen him on TV. He was just so friendly and happy to talk to everyone who came by his booth. And hilarious! I loved him in Grizzly Adams and it was so wonderful to find out he was just as nice a person in real life as he comes across on TV. Matt "Feedback" Atherton(the Who Wants to be A Superhero winner) had dinner with him the first night of the Con and said Dan had everyone rolling on the floor with his jokes and stories. Apparently this was his first convention, hopefully we have a chance to see him at many more.

I just met Dan Haggerty at the motor city comic con. He is a nice guy. He is exactly like you see in the movies. He is friendly and one of the nicest people I have ever met in person. I watched all the Grizzly Adams shows on tv. To meet him in person was like reliving the show again. I hope to see him again.
