I remember seeing an interview with lovely lady in TV Guide in the early 1960's
where she stated that she was not interested in playing the usual roles offered
to actresses of color at the time. This is still not an easy path to take now,
much less in (1963? article date?) I have always admired this classy lady.
Werner Klemperer certainly had good taste in wom1c84en.
TV Guide rarely (if at all) interviewed black performers during those days,
so this issue is definitely collectible in my opinion.
