<p dir="auto">Suicide is a relative term.<br />
If a person is not in their "right mind" and committs suicide then this is not "a sin" as it was not a rational decision.<br />
One could also say that people who smoke are also committing suicide - so it begs the question are there smokers in heaven ?<br />
No God that I care to believe in would turn his/her back on such a tortured and unhappy soul as Miss Hartman.<br />

<p dir="auto">She was very sick. I once read an interview and a filmmaker said that the catholic curch used to believe this but not anymore because it is in no one's hands execept God's. He said something along the lines of "He has given people numerous information about mental illness and yet people choose to ignore it." I don't remeber his exact words,but that is basically what he said. I agree with the filmmaker. I don't think he knew Elizabeth, I just wish he had been around whike she was still alive and told her this before she went away.<br />
