My wife and I attended "free museum day" in St. Petersburg last weekend. In the History Museum we saw many black & white photos that were on display of famous celebrities. One that caught our attention was a very young Elvis Presley sitting next to an "unidentified" girl as they watched the Weechi Wachee mermaid show. A photographer, now deceased, got a great shot of Elvis and this girl. Well, I purchased the photo and was given a certificate of authenticity supporting the fact that this was one-of-a-kind photo, negatives no longer exist. I bought the picture from the photographer's daughter. My friend, actor and performer, came to the house recently and new immedately who the young girl was sitting next to Elvis. It was Anne Helm. They were doing the movie "Follow That Dream" here in Florida and decided to take a break and go see the mermaid show. Both Elvis and Anne are gaping at the mermaids. This picture looks great over my desk here at our home. I'm hoping Anne Helm will grant my recent request and send me an autographed picture of herself from that film in 1962.Rob
