A post-mortem expert on a dead actor just means Gingavitis read press and watched Unsolved Mysteries and Mysteries & Scandals after the fact. I've been in the industry for decades, don't have to rely on spin and a long-ago broken teenaged heart for my information, I have first-hand retellings of the events (recounted to me at the time it happened, not from old newspaper clippings).
Are you an accountant or a gardener by trade? Because you know less than zero about shoots and sets and actor expectation; AN ACTOR NEVER PUTS A PROP GUN TO HIS HEAD AND PULLS THE TRIGGER OUTSIDE WHEN NBOT FILMING. Loaded or not, discharging in the upcoming scene or not. Every child, retard and model who gets a chance to act knows that. It was no one's fault but no-so-clever JEH.
He's dead because he was a dumbass. End of story.

By 1984 I didn't watch much TV (none of the sitcoms since the mid 1970s) but I did occasionally tune in on dramas. Cover Up was fairly decent but without Jon-Erik it was doomed. I forgot about the series until I went to a yard sale and someone had taped the show on VHS when it was new so I bought them for $5. There were no dvds of it then (around 2001) so I guess I got lucky. Later transferred them to dvd. The show just wasn't the same after his last appearance.

Oh, and Kpocc, why don't you tell us where you got your "correct information" from? We'd love to hear who your sources are.

You know, I was all geared up to reply to this, until I found out that you are nothing but a troll that likes to land all over these boards, spewing forth crap to piss people off. Wow, it must be something, living inside that head of yours, in a world where the rest of us are nowhere near as faboulous as you are. Seriously, when are you up for your deity classification? That's a ceremony I'd like to see.
For Jon-Erik's memory, though, I will point out the fact that the sets have weapons specialist5b4s that are there to monitor the guns and teaching the actors the proper procedures in how to handle them.
I don't know who you talked to, but from the source I have, the weapons specialist was sent home that day due to budget cuts. The propmaster is the one that had the gun, someone that was not properly trained to do so. Hmm, that tells me it was FOX'S FAULT! Especailly since the court documents claim that the weapons were not properly maintained and checked to make sure they were not faulty.
I'd ask to see your credentials, since you claim to be such an expert in the industry, but I doubt spending your free time trolling IMDB would qualify you as an expert in the biz. You appear to have some grandiose dreams in your head about the facts of that day (among other things.) You are an idiot, and a waste of our time. Go crawl to the rock you slithered out from. We're not interested in your useless blathering.
