i was flipping through the channels, and child's play (the chucky doll movie) is on i noticed the mom looked really familiar, and finally figured out it was the mom from 7th heaven! i never realized that before.
i guess this topic isn't that big a deal, i just thought it was weird; after seeing her on that super-Christian/sappy show for the last 10-11 years, it was the last type of movie I'd expect her to be in.
and YES, i realize these are all just movies, and that she's just "acting" and is free to pursue a wide range of roles, i'm just used to seeing her as annie/the housewife on 7th heaven.

Well, she did Make Child's Play sometime before she took the role of Annie on Seventh HeavenI first saw her in an ABC mini-series in 1980-81 or so called Marilyn: The Untold Story in which she played Marilyn Monroe.

For me it was the exact opposite.
I watched "chucky" or "child's play" the first time when I was around 10 (10 years go) and then a couple of years later I zipped to 7th heaven and I was like "hmm, that face looks familiar". I loved her role in chucky, the whole movie gave some serious nightmares untill I was like 16.
So my brain could not really "accept" her as nice, calm and religious mom in 7th heaven, it was just wrong.
