Is it just me or does he look like a cross between Luke Goss and Jason Statham? Don't get me wrong I think he's a great actor. I loved him in below, the devils chair, Hatfield's & McCoy's and I liked his part on Banshee too. Just my opinion.

I also thought 'Gennady' looked like Jason Statham - bald, scruffy, gruff, tough, the tracksuit (not the accent though!).
IMHO, a bit more like Chev Chelios (Crank) than Frank the Transporter.
Perhaps Mr Howard, the director or even the costume people were having a bit of a joke at Mr Statham's expense? Or maybe it's just that Mr Statham's characters are often in that bald tough guy mould. I actually liked Gennady as a villain in the film, and was enjoying his 'improvement' on the drug - until his untidy demise.
