Just wondering if he was really liked the film showed him. Did Terry Moore really marry him?

Sex:
Al Capone died of syphilis and Hitler was rumored to have suffered from it so sexual diseases did exist and could be fatal during the time period. His fears wouldn't depend on that anyway because it was a mental issue and therefore somewhat irrational.
I'm surprised that a germaphobe would have casual sex. Maybe he always used condoms, even multiples. He did never have children so it's possible.
Yes, OCD sufferers don't obsess about everything but germs was his thing, implanted by his mother who was also a sufferer.
We also don't know how much of the stories are true. If a man supposedly has been with X amount of women then cut that number in half and that's probably the amount of women he's dated, then cut that number in half and that's probably the amount of women he's kissed, then cut that number in half and that's probably closer to the actual amount of women with whom he's had sex.
Terry Moore:
Then why didn't she have to pay for being a bigamist 3 times over? It also means that her two children were illegitimate. DNA tests now exist so at least the children can't attempt to gain anything from any HH legacy.
People often settle claims to get the matter over with and so the person would just go away.
It's terrible that she received money she didn't deserve. It was larceny. She knew she was never legally married to HH. Her marriage records to the other men supports it. She knew not to overlap those marriages.
She was an opportunist regarding the death of Howard Hughes. She may be an otherwise good person but her actions with the Hughes estate is nothing admirable.
She may have felt she knew him better than the relatives but that didn't entitle her to anything. Can she prove she was even around at any time during those final years? If he had wanted to leave her anything then he would have left a will.
She took advantage and it was a disgusting thing to do. I can't fathom how anyone could see it otherwise. They may want to see it differently but should accept the obvious.
She wrote a book and popped up at a screening of The Aviator. Was she not able to make any significant money on her own merit without using his name? It's sad that public figures can be objectified.

Yes, he was. There should be a list of famous actresses who didn't sleep with Howard Hughes. Also, Hughes was only ever married to Terry Moore in a fradulent ceremony. He was only legally married twice, first to Ella Rice and then to Jean Peters

He dated Ginger Rogers in the early 30s. They apparently resumed their relatio238nship later in the decade and, according to Ginger, were engaged until she found out that he was cheating on her. This was detailed in Ginger's autobiography.

He was more of a womanizer than shown in the film. The long term relationship with Kate hepburn shown in the film was grossly overstated.
Terry Moore got a nuisance settlement from his estate over her claim to have been married to him. During the time she claimed to have been married to him, she married two other men. I'm never sure why the estate settled with her but I suppose they just wanted to get the estate resolved, so they paid her off.

She says yes. They were married on his private yacht in international waters by the ships captain. She said they had a baby daughter who lived only 12 hours after birth. She said they were married from 1949-1957. She received a 10 million dollar settlement after his death.
