I don't understand why this guy was so popular, probably because he was rich? and not half bad looking either, but I mean everything ive heard this guy do, he sounded like a conniving obsessive cocmpulsive whiny little brat with some serious mental issues who if he didn't get his way got peoples careers in jeoperday. I don't respect the guy, and the fact he turned into such a nutjob later just shows where his billions got him. the biblical quote "its easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to go to heaven" holds true if you look at the way some of these rich bafoons live there lives.

He was an aviation pioneer and not by any means was he a whiny brat. He employed a lot of people and would reward them if they did a good job for him. The person who pulled him out of the burning wreckage from his 1946 plane crash, received a lifetime pension. Read one of the many biographies of Hughes like I have and you will have a different opinion of him.

I enjoyed the quote you posted.
I find it funny that other poster is questioning people being drawn to the wealthy when they too are a member of an entertainment website.
